BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
$1,992.00 to Austin White Lime Company for the purchase of
hydrated lime for the Water Treatment Plant.
This purchase is an emergency in that the Water
Treatment Plant has almost depleted its stock of this chemical and
the chemical is needed for the treatment of surface water taken
into the plant on Pine Street.
