R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing various sizes
of repair clamps for the Utilities Service Center; and,
WHEREAS, East Texas Service Corporation submitted the
following bid:
120 - 6" Repair Clamps - $ 42.10 ea.
50 - 8" Repair Clamps - 54.00 ea.
24 - 12" Repair Clamps - 73.35 ea.
4 - 18" Repair Clamps - 172.95 ea.
2 - 24" Repair Clamps - 217.75 ea.
2 - 30" Repair Clamps - 269.40 ea.
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by East Texas Service Corporation is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of East Texas Service Corporation in the amounts
stated above be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for same upon
acceptable delivery.
