WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing one (1)
3/4-ton electric truck for the Sewer Maintenance Department; and,
WHEREAS, Mopeds of Houston, Inc. submitted a bid in the
amount of $4,225.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Mopeds of Houston, Inc. is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Mopeds of Houston, Inc. in the amount of $4,225.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable
delivery .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
