WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of a
400' radio tower at the Waterworks Plant; and,
WHEREAS, TWR Telecom, Inc. , of Houston, Texas submitted
a bid in the amount of $61 ,0514.15 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by TWR Telecom, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of TWR Telecom, Inc. is hereby accepted by the City
of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with TWR Telecom, Inc. in the amount of $61,054.15
for the construction of a 400' radio tower at the Waterworks
Plant.
