WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing soil pipe
couplings for the Sewer Maintenance Department; and,
WHEREAS, SPI Municipal Supply Company submitted the
following bid:
300 - 4" Flexible Couplings $ 3.27/ea.
120 - 6" Flexible Couplings 8.48/ea.
60 - 8" Flexible Couplings 10 .81/ea.
10 - 10" Flexible Couplings 17 .06/ea.
20 - 12" Flexible Couplings 17 .54/ea.
6 - 15" Flexible Couplings 56.10/ea.
300 - 4" Soil Pipe 1.65/ea.
80 - 6" Soil Pipe 4.09/ea.
30 - 8" Soil Pipe 7 .94/ea.
10 - 10" Soil Pipe 11,56/ea.
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by SPI Municipal Supply Company should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of SPI Municipal Supply Company in the amounts stated
above be the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable delivery .
