WHEREAS, under the Assessment Paving Program of the City
of Beaumont, the Public Works Department has recommended that Beale
Street, including Lots 1-9, Blocks 7 and 8, of the Virginia Estates
be paved under the Assessment Paving Program; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont is of
the opinion that this recommendation should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the recommendation of the Public Works Department that Beale
Street, including Lots 1-9, Blocks 7 and 8 of the Virginia Estates
be paved under the Assessment Paving Program is hereby approved and
the Public Works Department is directed to prepare plans,
specifications, and cost estimates with reference to this project
for presentation to the City Council.
