WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing various sizes
of fire hose; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:
Halprin Supply Co . - $2,460.00 (2,000 ft. of 1 1/2 in. hose)
Claude Wright & Assoc. - $2,680.00 (2,000 ft. of 2 1/2 in.
hose)
Claude Wright & Assoc. - $3,180.00 (1,000 ft. of 3 in. hose)
Bayou Gasket & Hose Co . - $5,216 .00 (800 ft. of 5 in. hose)
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted by Halprin Supply Co . , Claude Wright & Assoc. , and
Bayou Gasket& Hose Co . , should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Halprin Supply Co . , Claude Wright & Assoc. , and
Bayou Gasket & Hose Co . , in the amounts stated above be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized
to make payment for same upon acceptable delivery .
