R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing four (4 )
portable air compressors for various departments; and,
WHEREAS, Heatley Equipment Company submitted a bid for
two (2 ) 100 CFM units with one clay digger attachment for $13,315 ;
and,
WHEREAS, Gaedcke Equipment Company submitted a bid for
two (2 ) 125 CFM units for $17 ,607.00 for the Water Utilities
Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted by Heatley Equipment Company, Gaedcke Equipment
Company should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Heatley Equipment Company and Gaedcke Equipment
Company in the amounts stated above be accepted by the City of
Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to make
payment for same upon acceptable delivery .
