R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing three (3) one
ton trucks and one (1) two ton truck for the Traffic &
Transportation Department and Code Enforcement Department; and,
WHEREAS, Kinsel Ford, Inc. submitted the following bid:
One (1) Ton - $ 7,834.11 (Equipped with metal bed)
One (1) Ton - $ 6,913 .42 (Cab/Chassis)
One (1) Ton - $11,039.11 (Equipped with dump bed)
WHEREAS, Beaumont Motor Company submitted the following
bid:
One (2 )Ton - $18,889.91 (Equipped with dump bed)
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted by Kinsel Ford, Inc. , and Beaumont Motor Company
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Kinsel Ford, Inc. , and Beaumont Motor Company in
the amounts stated above be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and
the City Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for same
upon acceptable delivery .
