WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing one (1)
cab/chassis equipped with lift, utility body, and traversing
platform for the Traffic & Transportation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Traffic Signal Equipment, Inc. of Fort Worth,
Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of $32,616 .00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Traffic Signal Equipment, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Traffic Signal Equipment, Inc. in the amount of
$32,616 .00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for same upon
acceptable delivery .
