ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING THE SOUTH 650'
OF GORMAN ROAD TO THE LNVA CANAL, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the south 650' of Gorman Road to the LNVA Canal, in the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County,Texas, as described below and as shown on Exhibit"A"attached hereto,
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned subject to the retention of a geneeral
utility and drainage easement by the City:
Being the south 650' length of the 80' wide Gorman Road extending to a
point in the north right-of-way line of the 220' wide LNVA fresh water canal,
said line situated 50' north of the corporate limits of the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, said Gorman Road right-of-way, containing 1.19
acres of land, more or less.
