ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING A 20' WIDE
GENERAL UTILITY EASEMENT IN BLOCK 28,
CARTWRIGHT TERRACE ADDITION, CITY OF BEAUMONT,
JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT a 20' wide general utility easement situated in Block 28, Cartwright Terrace Addition
abutting Lots 1, 2, 3, 15 and 16, in said Block 28, and extending from the Santa Fe
Railroad right-of-way north of Forsythe Street, containing 0.0724 acres, more or less in
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, is hereby
abandoned.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the ✓: day of
1997.

Being a 20' wide utility easement situated in Block 28, Cartwright Terrace Addition, said
easement having been retained by the City when abandoning a 20' alley right-of-way lying in
the north part of said Block 28, Cartwright Terrace Addition, on March 5, 1957, said 20'
wide easement abutting Lots 1, 2, 3, 15 and 16, said Block 28, and extending from the Santa
Fe Railroad right-of-way north to Forsythe Street, containing 0.0724 acres, more or less.
