WHEREAS, bids were received on Monday, November 23, 1998 for furnishing all
labor, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to perform an evaluation survey of
Water Well No. 3 located in Loeb, Hardin County; and,
WHEREAS, Layne-Texas, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$30,312; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Layne-Texas,
Houston, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Layne-Texas, Houston, Texas in the amount of $30,312 for
furnishing all labor, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to perform an evaluation
survey of Water Well No. 3 located in Loeb, Hardin County be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
