WHEREAS bids were received on Tuesday, December 1, 1998 for the purchase
of a 60,000 lb. track dozer for the Clean Community Department, Landfill Division; and,
WHEREAS, Mustang Tractor & Equipment submitted a bid in the amount of
$263,916.00 for one (1) Caterpillar Model D7 track dozer; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor
& Equipment in the amount of$263,916.00 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor & Equipment in the amount of$263,916.00
for the purchase of for one (1) Caterpillar Model D7 track dozer be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
