WHEREAS sealed bids were received Monday, November 9, 1998 for the purchase
of fourteen (14) trunk mounted video cameras and body packs for the Beaumont Police
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Advanced Systems &Alarms, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amounts shown below:
Description Unit Total
14 Mobile Video Package with Body Pack $3,795.00 $53,130.00
14 Additional Body Packs $100.00 $1,400.00
GRAND TOTAL $54,530.00
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Advanced
Systems & Alarms, Beaumont, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Advanced Systems & Alarms, Beaumont, Texas in the unit
amounts shown above for the purchase of fourteen (14) trunk mounted video cameras and
body packs for the Beaumont Police Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
