WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas, awarded a
contract to Allco, Inc. in the amount of$1,141,947.00 for sanitary sewer improvements to
the Calder Interceptor Rehabilitation Project, Contract No. Six; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $78,782.00 is required
to adjust quantities of unit price bid items to provide the installation of additional piping,
fittings, manholes, and point repairs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
1 increasing the contract in the amount of$1,220,729.00. The project, as stated above,
be and the same is herein accepted and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized
to make final payment in the amount of$108,249.55 to be paid to Allco, Inc.
