WHEREAS, Sandoz Crop Protection Corporation has donated a twenty (20) foot
by twenty (20) foot wide Water Line Easement out of the William Sigler Survey, Abstract
48 and the Federal Government has signed an Easement Agreement for water and
sanitary sewer facilities out of the E. D. Chenneth Survey, Abstract 104 to serve the
Federal Prison as described on Exhibits "A" and "B" attached; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the donation of said easement and is
of the opinion that the acceptance of said easement is necessary and desirable and that
same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the twenty (20) foot by twenty (20) foot Water Line Easement donated by Sandoz
Crop Protection Corporation be and it is hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to
execute the Easement Agreement with the Federal Government for water and sanitary
sewer facilities.
