WHEREAS, Entergy Gulf States, Inc., has requested the City of Beaumont grant a
fifty-foot (50') wide utility easement out of the James Drake Survey, Abstract No. 18, to
serve the City's Water Production Plant, as depicted on Exhibit "A" attached; and,
WHEREAS, it appears that it would be equitable to allow such an easement at this
time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to grant to Entergy Gulf States, Inc. a fifty-
foot (50')wide utility easement out of the James Drake Survey, Abstract No. 18, to serve
the City's Water Production Plant, a plat of the property is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day
of 21998.
