WHEREAS sealed bids were received on Monday, October 26, 1998 for an annual
contract to furnish automotive batteries for the Fleet Management Division; and,
WHEREAS, Nationwide Batteries, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
estimated amount of$22,811.45 for the unit prices shown below:

Batteries, Beaumont, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Nationwide Batteries, Beaumont, Texas for the unit prices
shown above and in the estimated amount of$22,811.45 for an annual contract to furnish
automotive batteries for the Fleet Management Division be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
