WHEREAS, the properties L H Langham S/D, Tract 4, Block 25, 2.01 acres, Jefferson
County Account#036090-010800 and L H Langham S/D, Tract 5, Block 24, 1.66 acres,
Jefferson Account #036090-010100 were deeded to Jefferson County and the entities it
represents at a Sheriff's Sale on November 3, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the properties adjoin one of Drainage District #6's drainage ways; and
WHEREAS, Drainage District#6 has offered to pay One-Hundred ($100.00) Dollars
to the City of Beaumont to relinquish their ownership interest in the above referenced
properties to the Drainage District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the sale of the City's interest in the above described properties in the amount of
One-Hundred ($100.00) Dollars to Drainage District #6 be and the same is hereby
approved.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the /7, day of
1998.
