WHEREAS, on October 19, 1998, bids were received for the Chaison Street
Pavement Widening Project; and,
WHEREAS, Excavators & Constructors, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$159.553.05; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Excavators &
Constructors, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Excavators & Constructors, Inc. in the amount of$159,553.05
for the construction of the Chaison Street Pavement Widening Project be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day
of 11998.
