WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land as
described on attached Exhibit "A" for the Neighborhood Revitalization Project; and
WHEREAS, this property needs to be conveyed to the Southeast Texas Community
Development Corporation, Inc. for the construction of a home for the Neighborhood
Revitalization Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and is hereby authorized to execute a deed conveying Lot 10,
Block 1 of the Bowers, Hill and Thompson Addition located at 1890 Lela Street
as shown on Exhibit"A" attached hereto to the Southeast Texas Community Development
Corporation, Inc. for the construction of a home for the Neighborhood Revitalization
Project.
