WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont has negotiated to sell a surplus tract of land as
described on Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, the value of$735.00 has been negotiated with Jewel A. Hymel and wife,
Claire S. Hymel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a deed conveying a 978.8
square foot tract of land out of Lot 14, Block 1 of the Broadway Place Addition to Jewel A.
Hymel and wife, Claire S. Hymel for the negotiated value of$735.00
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1998.
