WHEREAS, Entergy Gulf States, Inc. has requested a twenty-(20) foot wide aerial
and guy wire anchor easement on City owned property on a portion of the abandoned Isla
Street and a portion of the Babe Zaharias Park for the relocation of their facilities for the
Concord Road Improvement Project, as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the grant of said aerial and guy wire
anchor easement and is of the opinion that the said easement of property is necessary and
desirable and that same should be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT said aerial and guy wire anchor easement is hereby granted to Entergy Gulf States,
Inc. for the relocation of their facilities for the Concord Road Improvement Project and the
City Manager is authorized to execute an easement for such purposes.
