WHEREAS, on Tuesday, September 8, 1998, bids were received for furnishing all
labor, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to demolish the structure located at
1300 North Street; and,
WHEREAS, C & C Demolition submitted a bid in the amount of Fifty-eight Thousand
One-Hundred and Eighty-Five ($58,185.00) Dollars; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by C & C
Demolition should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by C & C Demolition in the amount of Fifty-eight Thousand One-
Hundred and Eighty-Five ($58,185.00) Dollars for furnishing all labor, materials, supplies
and equipment necessary to demolish the structure located at 1300 North Street should
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract
with C & C Demolition in the amount of$58,185.00 for the project.
