HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 98-234 RESOLUTION NO. , WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of property described as Beaumont Addition, Lots 315 and 316, Block 49 and the northwest 40 feet of Lots 305 through 309, Block 49, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto from Jefferson County in exchange for the City's conveyance of its interest in the former BISD Administration Building property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT.- THAT the acquisition of property described as Beaumont Addition, Lots 315 and 316, Block 49 and the northwest 40 feet of Lots 305 through 309, Block 49 as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be accepted by the City of Beaumont. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute the instruments of conveyance to Jefferson County.
