WHEREAS, on Monday, August 3, 1998, sealed bids were received for the
purchase of four (4) submersible non-clog wastewater pumps for use in the Beaumont
Sewage Treatment Plant; and,
WHEREAS, Pumps & Equipment of Texas, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
Fifteen-Thousand, Six-Hundred ($15,600.00) Dollars; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Pumps &
Equipment of Texas, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Pumps & Equipment of Texas, Inc. in the amount of Fifteen-
Thousand, Six-Hundred ($15,600.00) Dollars for the purchase of four (4) Fairbanks Morse
wastewater pumps for use in the Beaumont Sewage Treatment Plant should be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
