WHEREAS sealed bids were received on Monday, July 27, 1998 for an annual contract
to purchase corrugated polyethylene pipe to be used by the Street and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Coburn Supply Company submitted a bid in the unit amounts shown below:

18" Smooth interior corrugated pipe, linear foot $5.74

and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Coburn Supply
Company for an annual contract to purchase corrugated polyethylene pipe to be used by the
Street and Drainage Division should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Coburn Supply Company for an annual contract to purchase
corrugated polyethylene pipe to be used by the Street and Drainage Division in the unit amounts
shown above for an annual estimated amount of$115,400 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
