WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Sweeney of Houston, Texas have donated
a tract of land in the Beaumont Townsite, being Tract 1 of Lots 714 and 715, Block 32;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said donation and is
of the opinion that the acceptance of said donation of property is necessary and desirable
and that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to accept the donation by Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas W. Sweeney of Houston, Texas, of a tract of land in the Beaumont Townsite,
being Tract 1 of Lots 714 and 715, Block 32 as described in Exhibit "A".
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the �Z5� day of
