WHEREAS, sealed bids were received Monday, August 3, 1998, for an annual
contract for furnishing containers and solid waste collection services for City facilities; and,
WHEREAS, Gulf Coast Waste Services submitted a bid in the amounts shown
below:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Gulf Coast Waste
Services for furnishing containers and solid waste collection services for City facilities should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Gulf Coast Waste Services, in the unit costs stated herein for
furnishing containers and solid waste collection services for City facilities be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
