and;
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the unit bid submitted by Corporate Express
of Texas is the best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Corporate Express of Texas for an annual contract for office supplies
for all City offices in the unit prices stated, including a 40% discount for general office supply
catalogue items and 54% discount for in-house store catalogue items, for an annual estimated
expenditure of$82,000 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
