WHEREAS, on Monday, July 13, 1998, sealed bids were received for providing a five (5)-
year financing agreement for the purchase of three (3) jet rodder trucks; and,
WHEREAS, Municipal Services Group, of Littleton, Colorado, submitted a bid for a five (5)-
year financing agreement in the amount of 54 basis points below the yield of 6% Coupon
Treasury Note maturing July, 2002; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Municipal Services
Group should be accepted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Municipal Services Group for a five (5)-year financing agreement for
the purchase of three (3)jet rodder trucks in the amount of 54 basis points below the yield of the
6% Coupon Treasury Notes maturing July, 2002 be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a lease purchase agreement for three (3) jet rodder
trucks.
