WHEREAS sealed bids were received on Monday, July 20, 1998 for the purchase of
roofing materials for a new roof on the Beaumont Civic Center upper deck; and,
WHEREAS, Action Roofing Supply submitted a bid in the amounts shown below:

420 squares Granulated Torch Grade Brai $38.10 $16,002.00
420 sticks Stick Trumble Type III Asphalt $9.90 $4,158.00
TOTAL BID $20,160.00
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Action Roofing Supply
for the purchase of roofing materials for a new roof on the Beaumont Civic Center upper deck
should be accepted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT-
THAT the bid submitted by Action Roofing Supply for the purchase of roofing materials for a new
roof on the Beaumont Civic Center upper deck in the amount of$20,160 be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
