WHEREAS, sealed bids were received Monday, July 13, 1998, for an annual contract to
furnish plumbing services for all City facilities; and,
WHEREAS, All Star Plumbing Company, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amounts
shown below:
Rate per hour-Plumber Rate per hour-Helper Minimum Service Call Percent Added to Materials Cost
$47.75 $18.00 $40.00 20%
and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by All Star Plumbing
Company, Beaumont, Texas for an annual contract to furnish plumbing services for all City
facilities be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by All Star Plumbing Company, Beaumont, Texas in the amounts shown
above for an annual contract to furnish plumbing services for all City facilities be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
