WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont is planning improvements to Concord Road from
Interstate 10 to East Lucas; and,
WHEREAS, the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition
Policies Act of 1970, as amended, ensures that persons displaced as a result of an
improvement project are treated fairly, consistently, and equitably so that such persons will
not suffer disproportionate injuries as a result of projects designed for the benefit of the
public as a whole; and,
WHEREAS, D & D A/C and Appliance Repair is being displaced as a result of this
project and qualifies for relocation assistance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to make payment to D & D A/C
and Appliance Repair displaced due to the improvements to Concord Road from Interstate
10 to East Lucas, in the amount of $6,580.00.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
