WHEREAS, on Monday, December 8, 1997, bids were received for the purchase
of one medium duty crew cab truck chassis equipped with a 4-5 cubic yard dump body;
and,
WHEREAS, Lawrence Marshall Chev-Olds, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$49,973.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lawrence
Marshall Chev-Olds, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lawrence Marshall Chev-Olds, Inc. for the purchase of one (1)
1998 Chevrolet CC71-1042 Medium Duty Crew Cab truck chassis equipped with a 4-5 cubic
yard dump body in the amount of$49,973.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
