WHEREAS, bids were received on Monday, December 1, 1997 for the purchase
of one (1) centrifugal trash pump for the Solid Waste Department Landfill Division; and,
WHEREAS, Service Pump & Compressor, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$17,571.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Service Pump
& Compressor, Inc. in the amount of$17,571.00, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Service Pump & Compressor, Inc. for one (1) Gorman Rupp
Model CE6A60-4039D dewatering pump in the amount of$17,571.00 be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
