WHEREAS, on December 8, 1997, bids were received for the Folsom Drive Pavement
Widening Project; and
WHEREAS, Norman Highway Constructors, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$1,324,455.93; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Norman Highway
Constructors, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Norman Highway Constructors, Inc. in the amount of$1,324,455.93
for the construction of the Folsom Drive Pavement Widening project be accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute such contract.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the " day of
