WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on Monday, November 17, 1997, for providing an
annual contract for mowing vacant, privately-owned property for the Central Services Department,
Clean Community Division; and,
WHEREAS, Yardboy Lawncare submitted a bid in the amount of$0.0019 per square foot
for cuttings over 6,500 square feet and $15.00 for property 6,500 square feet or less in size for
an estimated annual expenditure of$56,678.56; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Yardboy Lawncare
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Yardboy Lawncare for an annual contract for mowing vacant,
privately-owned property for the Central Services Department, Clean Community Division in the
amount of $0.0019 per square foot for cuttings over 6,500 square feet and $15.00 for property
6,500 square feet or less in size for an estimated annual expenditure of $56,678.56 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
