WHEREAS, on November 24, 1997, bids were received for the 11th Street
Pavement Widening; and,
WHEREAS, Excavators & Constructors, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$1,750,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Excavators &
Constructors, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Excavators & Constructors, Inc. in the amount of
$1,750,000.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
