WHEREAS, a bid was received on Monday, November 17, 1997 for the purchase
of a twenty (20) passenger bus for the Central Services Department's Community
Resource Program; and,
WHEREAS, Hemphill Bus Sales, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$61,328.00;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Hemphill Bus
Sales, Inc. in the amount of $61,328.00, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Hemphill Bus Sales for one (1) 1998 Blue Bird bus body
mounted on a Navistar conventional chassis in the amount of $61,328.00 be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
