WHEREAS, the lawsuit of Cordell Harris v City of Beaumont, has been discussed
in an Executive Session properly called and held; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit of Cordell
Harris v. City of Beaumont in the amount of Ten-Thousand (10,000.00) Dollars.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the z&day
of 1997.
