WHEREAS, sealed bids were received for an annual contract to purchase cervical
collars and bag valve masks on an as-needed basis by the Public Health Department,
Emergency Medical Services Division (EMS); and,
WHEREAS, Ambu, Inc., Linthium, Maryland, submitted a bid in the estimated
amount of$24,579.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Ambu, Inc.,
Linthium, Maryland, in the estimated amount of$24,579.00, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Ambu, Inc., Linthium, Maryland, for an annual contract to
purchase cervical collars and bag valve masks on an as-needed basis by the Public Health
Department, Emergency Medical Services Division (EMS) in the estimated amount of
$24,579.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1997.
