WHEREAS, on Monday, October 6, 1997, sealed bids were received for an annual
contract to purchase traffic marking materials on an as-needed basis by the Public Works
Department, Transportation Division ; and,
WHEREAS, the following vendors submitted bids in the amounts shown;

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by the above shown
vendors should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by the above-shown vendors in the approximate annual expenditure of
$39,715.75 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
