WHEREAS, on Monday, October 13, 1997, bids were received for the purchase of
one (1) tractor with a front-end loader and rear-mounted backhoe for the Public Works
Department, Streets and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Oil City Tractors, Inc, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount
of $44,980.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors,
Inc., Beaumont, Texas in the estimated amount of $44,980.00, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, for the purchase of
one (1) Ford New Holland Model 555E tractor with a front-end loader and rear-mounted
backhoe in the amount $44,980.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1997.
