WHEREAS, the lawsuit of Janell Johnson and Aleta Isadore v. City of Beaumont
has been discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlements of the lawsuits;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the claim of Janell
Johnson in the amount of Seven-thousand ($7,000.00) dollars and the claim of Aleta
Isadore in the amount of Six-thousand ($6,000.00) dollars.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day
