WHEREAS, bids were received on Monday, October 20, 1997 for furnishing one (1)
tandem axle cab and chassis equipped with a fourteen (14) cubic yard dump body to be
used by the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Olympic Truck Sales, Houston, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of$78,574.58; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Olympic Truck
Sales, Houston, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Olympic Truck Sales, Houston, Texas in the amount of
$78,574.58 for furnishing one (1) 1998 International tandem axle cab and chassis
equipped with a fourteen (14) cubic yard dump body be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the /2x/ day of
1997.
