WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) tandem axle cab and
chassis equipped with a 60,000 lb. winch for the Public Works Department, Streets and
Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Olympic Truck Sales, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount
of$87,764.74, and;
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Olympic Truck
Sales should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Olympic Truck Sales, Houston, Texas, for the purchase of one
(1) tandem axle cab and chassis equipped with a 60,000 lb. winch in the amount of
$87,764.74 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
