WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on Monday, September 29, 1997 for the
purchase of a herbicide spray unit for the Water Utilities Department, Water Reclamation
Division; and,
WHEREAS, Norstar Industries, Inc. of Auburn, Washington, submitted a bid in the
amount of $34,895.45, and;
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Norstar
Industries, Inc. of Auburn, Washington should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Norstar Industries, Inc. of Auburn, Washington for the purchase
of one (1) Norstar Industries herbicide spray unit in the amount of $34,895.45 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
