RESOLUTION NO. -_ �
WHEREAS, on Monday, October 13, 1997, bids were received for furnishing all
labor, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary for the excavation and compaction
of approximately 100,000 cubic yards of stockpiled clay material for final cover at the City's
Landfill; and
WHEREAS, Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. of Houston, Texas submitted a bid
in the amount of$4.44/cu. yd. for a total estimated amount of$444,000; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Four Seasons,
Environmental should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. for furnishing all labor,
equipment, supplies and supervision necessary for the excavation and compaction of
approximately 100,000 cubic yards of stockpiled clay material for final cover at the City's
Landfill in the amount of $4.44/cu. yd. for a total estimated amount of $444,000 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized
to execute a contract for such purchase.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1997.
